A Cattitude Cat Sitting Terms

By working with A Cattitude Cat Sitting, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Financial Responsibility & Authorization

  • By signing the contract or activating the portal, you certify that you assume full financial responsibility for your cats and authorize A Cattitude Cat Sitting staff to care for them while you are away.
  • If your cat has a pre-existing medical condition, you must inform us before services begin. We are not liable for any issues arising from undisclosed medical conditions.
  • In the event of a medical emergency, while your pet is in our care, you authorize our staff to seek veterinary treatment. You agree to pay a $20 veterinary trip fee and reimburse A Cattitude Cat Sitting/Carmen Risio (owner) for any out-of-pocket expenses and veterinary bills. We will make every effort to contact you or your designated local contact before proceeding with care decisions and payments.

Outdoor Cats Policy

  • A Cattitude Cat Sitting staff are NOT responsible for cats that are allowed to go outside during our service period. To ensure their safety, we strongly recommend keeping all cats indoors while under our care.

Home Access & Insurance Policy

  • If family members or service personnel enter the home during the scheduled pet care period, A Cattitude Cat Sitting staff is not responsible for their actions regarding your pets or home. Allowing others access to the home voids our Pet Sitters Insurance, per our insurance provider’s policy. If you anticipate others entering the home, we will coordinate with you; however, our insurance coverage will be null and void.
  • We are fully insured for pet sitting through Pet Sitters Associates.

Payment Policy

We accept cash, checks, and credit card payments via the Time To Pet App when registering online.

  • Payment is required at the start of services, with no exceptions.
  • Cash or checks may be left on the counter, or payment via credit card must be made the day before services begin.
  • Cancellations & Refunds:
    • If canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled visit, no refund will be issued, but credit can be applied to your account.
    • If canceled more than 49 hours before the scheduled visit, a 100% refund is issued or credited to your account for future use.
    • Early returns: If you return home early and notify us in time to prevent an unnecessary visit, a credit will be applied to your account for unused services unless you request otherwise. If services were already booked and confirmed, but not yet paid, the full amount remains due, and unused visits will be credited for future use. No cash refunds will be issued.
    • Refunds may take up to two weeks to process.

Holiday Fee

A $10 holiday surcharge applies per day on the following holidays:

  • Easter
  • Fourth of July
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
